In the next decade, companies will face various challenges. How can companies respond to challenges and create more investment value through ESG? MSCI and CFA Society will co-organize an ESG forum at the Global Business Sustainability Forum (GCSF) on November 19, 2020. In order to promote global sustainability development, MSCI has participated in the GCSF in Taiwan as a co-sponsor for two consecutive years. Karen Chen joined MSCI coverage team in Apr 2019 as Vice President, Client Coverage for Asia. Based in Taipei, she is majorly responsible for promoting MSCI’s indexes and ESG Research suite to clients in the region.
Karen was formerly an ETF fund manager in Taishin financial holding since joining in 2018. She has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector and has spent more than 10 years in equity derivatives. In her previous role, she was responsible for the sales and marketing for equity derivatives products and index related products.
Karen has a Bachelor of Finance from National Cheng Chi University in Taiwan and a Master of Finance from National Cheng Chi University in Taiwan.

Laura joined Mercer in May 2019. Laura has over fourteen years of experiences in execution of capital markets transactions worldwide. Laura began her career as a Product Services Manager at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in 2004. Prior to Mercer, Laura had been the Sales of Far Eastern International Securities for eight years, she is responsible for client relationship and institutional business development in Taiwan.
Laura also has fixed income market research, product development, clearing and custody experience with Citi banks and Allianz Global Investors. Laura earned an MBA degree from TamKang University. She is Certified Securities Investment Analyst Laura is native in Mandarin, and fluent in English and Japanese.
