• CSO Summit

    CCS was founded with a mission to promote corporate sustainability. In this summit, CCS has invited AU Optronics Corporation, Cathay Securities Investment Trust, CTCI Group, Ability International Company, Sinyi Realty, Advanced Semiconductor Engineering to share their vision on ESG issues including economic development, corporate governance, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability.

    • In 2013, promoted as VP of Human Resource Center. 
    • In 2004, joined AU Optronics as HR Manager of the Lung Tan Site, then appointed as Director of Corporate HR Strategy Division and Associate VP of Executive HR Division. 
    • In 1998, appointed as the HR Manager of the North Asian District at Huntsman Corporation. 
    • From 1990 to1996, worked at ICI as Quality Manager, Purchasing & Export Manager, and Purchasing Director.

    Andy Chang​

    President​, Cathay Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd.

    President of Cathay SITE. During his term of 7 years, Cathay has expanded to ETF and Private Equity business, and accumulated US$32.62 billion asset under management as of August 2020, and is the largest asset manager in Taiwan.

     

    Before being the president, Andy headed the discretionary portfolio management. Andy was awarded as an Outstanding Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Expertize under 8th Golden Goblet Award in 2005. Prior to Cathay SITE, Andy was a fund manager at HSBC Asset Management and a research analyst at Taiwan International Securities.

    Allen Chang

    General Manager, Ability International Company

    Allen Chang served as general manager within Ability International Company. Leading corporate transformation and diversification, developed ESG movement and promoted corporate CSR culture, assisted customers in replacing equipment with environmentally friendly energy-saving products such as inkjet photocopiers, LED lights to reduce environmental damage, and promoted environmental detection and health fitness measurement equipment , Kindergartens plant green energy and hydroponic vegetables, promote a balanced diet, strengthen the concept of health, and holding many of remote rural drone public welfare courses, telemedicine systems, guide small farmers to transform high-value crops, free CPR courses to promote, and will combine corporate social resources Go everywhere to create a world of mutual prosperity, sharing and benefit.

    Howard Chou

    CSO, Sinyi Group

    Howard Chou graduated from Industrial Engineering and Management at National Chiao Tung University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from National Taiwan University. Over 25 years work experiences in Sinyi, Mr. Chou began his career with Sinyi in 1992. Mr. Chou served as Operation GM of Greater China in 2008, and in recognition of his leadership, Mr. Chow was named as one of the 10 Most Outstanding Leaders in China Real Estate Sector in 2009. In prior leadership roles, Mr. Chou was appointed to CSO and spokesman of Sinyi Group in 2010.

    Ping Shou , Su

    Director, Corporate Sustainability & Occupational Confidence Division / ASE(Kaohsiung)

    Dir. Su has been working for ASE(Kaohsiung) for around 30 years, major business in the Corporate Sustainability Development & Occupational, Safety and Healthy management, taking the responsibility for the climate change issues, and executing several outsta nding projects, such as the first mass production reclaimed recycling water system constructed in Taiwan, the promotion of product carbon footprint and green factories certified. Meanwhile, Dir. Su also collaborates with ASE's suppliers to establish a sust ainable supply chain and sets up a sustainable platform with schools and communities for local culture ASE Confidential / Security-C education cultivated.

  • University Leaders Forum

    University is an important practice base for sustainability, and also the backstage driving force for society and country's sustainable development. University Leaders Forum invites representative figures who dedicate to university sustainability to share why and how university research, teaching, university governance could be linked to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From University Social Responsibility (USR) projects, Higher Education Sprout Projects, SDGs should be further integrated into the curriculum.

    Distinguished Professor, Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University

    Dr. Chiang is a distinguished professor of Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Taiwan University, a Fellow of Water Environment Federation (WEF) and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Dr. Chiang is known for his work in carbon adsorption, membrane and ozonation processes, carbon capture technology, and sustainability for energy and industrial development.

    Angela Yung Chi Hou

    Executive Director, High Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan

    Angela Yung-chi Hou, is Professor of Higher Education at National Chengchi University, Taiwan. She serves as Associate Dean of College of Education, National Chengchi University, as well as Executive Director of Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan. She was elected as Vice President of International Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (INQAAHE). She has been involved in quality assurance practices and international research for more than 15 years, including serving as Vice President of Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) and Board member of International Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and international reviewer of institutional and program accreditation in several countries.

    Justin Tay

    Regional Director (Asia) & General Manager, Times Higher Education (THE)

    Justin Tay, THE’s Regional Director & General Manager (Asia), oversees THE's strategic partnerships and initiatives in Asia, and leads the team from the Asia Headquarters. Justin continues to establish partnerships with governments, media and news agencies, and corporations, while working closely with universities and helping them build visibility and awareness around their research and brands. Prior to his current role Justin came from an audit, accounting, and credit rating background. He holds a Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore) and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) membership from the UK. He is based at the THE Singapore office.
