The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are set by the UN in 2015
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The SDGs provide clear guidelines and targets for all countries to adopt in accordance with their own priorities and the environmental challenges of the world at large. The SDGs are an inclusive agenda. They tackle the root causes of poverty and unite us together to make a positive change for both people and planet. “Poverty eradication is at the heart of the 2030 Agenda, and so is the commitment to leave no-one behind.

Creating Positive Impacts on Sustainability
The theme of 2019 GCSF is “Creating Positive Impacts on Sustainability”, we aims to emphasize the importance of SDGs in the field of corporate sustainability.
The theme aims to enable the participants to focus on how experts, practitioners, and researchers are developing the theory and methods of sustainable development, as well as policy-makers, private and public organizations, and scientists are translating how these theories into practice in order to achieve SDGs.
